The Plus Ultra community is intended to be a safe, fun place for everyone. By playing on our server or joining Discord, you agree to follow all the below rules.

1. Exercise common sense and respect the gaming experience of other players.
   • Harassment and excessive banter is not allowed.
2. Advertising of any kind is strictly prohibited.
   • Unless it has been previously agreed upon with an Admin+.
3. Do not create inappropriate structures.
4. The use of mods or clients that provide any player with an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
   • Attempting to bypass the AFK system is strictly prohibited.
   • Macros/Bots/AFK Farms/etc. are not allowed under any circumstance.
5. Harmful or objectionable language directed at players or staff members will not be tolerated.
6. Avoid spamming, using racial slurs, or excessive use of caps lock.
7. Refrain from soliciting items, ranks, and/or permissions from players or staff.
8. Only English is permitted in the main chat; other languages may be used in private messages.
9. Do not argue with staff members under any circumstances.
   
   • Staff have the final decision. Arguing can result in additional punishments.
10. ALT accounts are allowed in moderation.
    • We must be made aware of any/all of your ALT accounts through a ticket.
    • They fall under all the other rules stated here and are "linked" to your main account. (see rule 14)
11. Posting URLs in chat is prohibited.
12. Follow all instructions from staff members. Non-compliance will result in consequences.
13. Inappropriate names, including in-game names, and any other form deemed inappropriate by staff, are prohibited.
14. Evading punishments by any means, such as using an alt, is forbidden. Punishments will carry over and will be increased.
15. Abusing or exploiting any bug, glitch, or unintended mechanic within the server is prohibited and must be reported immediately.
    • It should be self-explanatory what is considered exploiting. If you have questions, contact a staff member.
16. Intentionally creating lag on the server is not allowed. 
17. Skins or capes deemed derogatory by staff are not allowed.
18. Impersonating staff or other players is strictly against the rules.
19. Discussion of political, controversial or religious topics, or creating related builds, is prohibited. Enforcement is at staff discretion.
    • Having builds such as a cross, or other religious symbols is permitted, as long as you are not attacking that religion/belief, as well as not promoting that religion/belief.
20. Attempting to disrupt the server's economy is strictly prohibited and will result in severe punishment at the discretion of staff.
21. Keep the chat on-topic. Use all chats/channels/forums appropriately. There are specific sections where things should go.
22. Insults targeting personal characteristics or information (such as race, gender, health issues, family matters, etc.) will not be tolerated.

All in all, use common sense. If you believe that something is not allowed, or a staff member believes that you are doing something that's not allowed, you will be punished for it.

Punishments

We utilize a few different forms of punishment. The different methods are below. Times will vary depending on the severity of the rule broken.

Warning (the least severe, just a simple warning)
Mute (will not be able to talk in chat)
Kick
Temp-Ban
Permanent Ban
